Job Description:

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Inventory Auditor is responsible for conducting periodic process audits as well as documenting/reporting audit results for the distribution facility. In addition, the auditor will assist with maintaining 98%+ inventory balance accuracy and provide support for the daily cycle count process.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and resolve cycle count discrepancies
• Perform cycle counts when applicable
• Identify/correct/report root causes of inventory imbalances
• Plan, schedule and coordinate distribution center (warehouse) process audits
• Document, organize and support audit findings
• Report audit results and provide recommendations for process improvements to the management team
• Perform audit counts of warehouse inventory
• Generate performance charts/graphs
• Analyze various inventory management reports
• Assist with obtaining/maintaining OHB accuracy of 98%+
• Coordinate internal Finance audits for physical inventory waiver

  • React to internal or external customer demands, cycle counts, process deficiencies, and on hand balance accuracy issues. Must be able to identify and resolve process improvement issues.
    • Must be highly creative and flexible and have strong communication skills
    • Should be able to easily start and carry projects to completion
    • Must be a self-starter, willing to ask for or acquire resources as demanded by tasks
    • Must be able to work in a loosely structured environment with minimum supervision
    • Ability to make decisions, influence and be a change agent
      
      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
      
      • Associates Degree preferred or equivalent job experience plus 2 yrs related experience.
      • Computer Knowledge: Basics of MFG Pro preferred, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
      • Must possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
      • Must be able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
