Job Description Job Description Position Overview Due to sustained growth, our centrally located Dallas client is seeking a Tax Generalist to fill a critical gap between their heavy tax specialists and lighter tax staff. This is a true opportunity with no ceiling - plenty of upward mobility in a stable, growing firm. Services & Client Base Tax-Heavy Practice (60% tax focus): Individual returns (1040s with businesses/rental properties) Partnership, S Corp, C Corp returns Trusts & Estates Multi-state taxation Some international tax work High net worth individuals Industries Served: Doctors, Dentists, Attorneys & other Professionals Restaurants & Hospitality Construction Real Estate (significant focus) Closely held businesses (no publicly traded companies) NO audit work - tax and advisory only Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 5-8 years tax experience Strong generalist background across multiple entity types Experience with successful business owners, investors, and real estate clients Some exposure to high net worth individuals (doesn't need to be ultra-complex) Comfortable with client communication and relationship building What Sets You Apart: Loyal, long-term oriented professional Prefers hands-on client interaction (not stuck in the back room) Can handle variety - not looking for ultra-specialized boutique work Ready to grow with a stable, independent firm
