Description As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are
at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You
help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by
anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgment
to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers,
and communities. As a Wholesale Credit Associate in the Wholesale
Credit Risk team, you will work with large credit datasets, produce
insightful segmentation and trend analyses (e.g., concentrations,
migration, early warning indicators), and translate results into
clear narratives for stakeholders. The Wholesale Credit Portfolio
Analytics Team focuses on identifying and monitoring top risks
across a diverse range of industries, developing and maintaining
client and portfolio dashboards, and delivering analytics that
inform senior management decision-making. Additionally, you will
partner closely with Credit Officers, Portfolio Management, and
Technology to improve data, reporting, and scalable analytics
solutions. Job Responsibilities Produce recurring and ad hoc
portfolio analytics for the Wholesale Credit book, including
concentrations, rating migration, emerging risks, and performance
trends Conduct thematic deep dives on priority risk topics
(industry stress, macro sensitivities, outlier behaviors),
synthesizing results into actionable insights Translate analytics
into concise materials for senior stakeholders with clear
data-backed narratives Develop and maintain client and portfolio
dashboards (KPIs, risk indicators, drill-down views) to support
monitoring and escalation of top risks Assist in applying LLMs to
synthesize unstructured data (financials, research, news) into
structured datasets for use in risk monitoring and analysis Partner
with Technology, Data, and adjacent Risk teams to improve data
quality and scale analytics solutions Required Qualifications,
Capabilities and Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a
quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics,
Statistics or a related discipline Minimum 3 years of relevant
experience in financial analytics, credit risk, or a related
quantitative field Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Python with experience manipulating datasets
(pandas, SQL, NumPy) and building reproducible analytical workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
present analytical work clearly Familiarity with or willingness to
learn core credit risk
