Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Project
Estimator to join our preconstruction team. This role plays a
critical part in the success of each project by producing accurate,
timely, and competitive estimates. You will be responsible for
reviewing plans, performing take-offs, procuring subcontractor
bids, and assembling complete project proposals. Key
Responsibilities: · Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and analyze
project plans, drawings, and specifications · Collaborate with the
project management team and visit job sites to develop and verify
estimates · Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and
supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and coverage · Build and
maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors ·
Assist in preparing bid packages and securing awarded contracts ·
Ensure quality control throughout the estimating and procurement
process · Identify risks and missing scope elements in remodel
projects, where attention to detail is critical · Work closely with
operations and field teams to align project expectations · Travel
occasionally to job sites (flights, hotel provided as needed)
Qualifications: · 3 years direct experience minimum · Proven
experience in commercial construction estimating, preferably in
remodel projects · Strong ability to read and interpret
architectural and engineering drawings · Excellent organizational
skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude · Experience working
with subcontractors and vendors to secure reliable bids ·
Proficiency in construction estimating software is a plus ·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills PandoLogic.
