solutions throughout the community. Position Summary We are seeking
a hands-on Mitigation Lead Technician to oversee and execute
mitigation and emergency restoration projects for residential and
commercial properties. This position involves direct leadership in
the field, technical execution of restoration procedures, and
responsibility for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key
Responsibilities Lead and manage mitigation jobs involving water,
fire, mold, and biohazard damage from start to finish. Train and
oversee technicians in equipment operation, safety, and proper
restoration techniques. Monitor job progress, take moisture
readings, and adjust strategies based on IICRC standards. Set up
containment zones, perform demolition, and maintain a clean and
safe job site. Operate and maintain restoration equipment,
including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filters, and injectidry
systems. Document job conditions, moisture levels, and work
progress using company systems (e.g., MICA, DASH, Encircle).
Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and
internal team members. Maintain a stocked and organized company
vehicle and ensure all equipment is ready for use. Adhere to safety
protocols, proper PPE use, and company policies at all times.
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as
needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in mitigation
or restoration (residential and/or commercial). WRT certification
required; additional certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT) are highly
valued. Proficient in using moisture detection tools and structural
drying equipment. Proven ability to lead a team or strong interest
in growing into a leadership role. Excellent customer service and
communication skills. Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs, due
to demanding work environments and dynamics. Valid drivers license
and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours,
including evenings and weekends.
