Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field,
active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1 years Educational
Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 itinerant educational
diagnostician position is available to cover a maternity leave from
February 23, 2026, to May 22, 2026, in Plano, TX. This role
involves conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to
identify students' cognitive, academic, and behavioral needs. The
professional will administer and interpret formal standardized
tests and analyze assessment data to determine eligibility for
special education services in compliance with IDEA regulations.
Active participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD)
meetings is essential to support the development of Individualized
Education Program (IEP) goals and services. Key responsibilities
include: - Administering and interpreting standardized assessments
for K-12 students. - Determining special education eligibility
based on data analysis. - Collaborating with teachers and parents
to monitor student progress and recommend behavioral and
instructional strategies. - Participating in ARD meetings to
contribute towards effective IEP development. - Suggesting
targeted, research-based interventions to address identified
learning gaps. Preferred qualifications and experience: -
Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician. -
Experience working within K-12 educational settings with diverse
student populations. - Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and
eligibility criteria. - Ability to communicate effectively with
educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. - Skills in data
interpretation and implementation of data-driven interventions.
This contractual leave position offers an opportunity to provide
critical support to students during a key period. The role is based
in Texas and requires flexibility in serving multiple school
locations as an itinerant diagnostician. Interested candidates are
