is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.
This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility. Relocation
assistance will be provided. Position Overview: The Senior
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting plant
leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing
and maintaining robust manufacturing processes and leading the lean
transformation across the organization. Additional responsibility
includes, executing the organizations strategic plan consistent
with federal, state, and local regulations, established industry
standards, and customer requirements as well as tooling layout,
design & implementation to production, support production team with
process improvements & troubleshooting, work with product design on
new product tooling & processes, factory layout, and continuous
improvement activities (kaizen events, use of six sigma tools, 5S

- Develop and implement process improvements which reduce labor
by simplifying tasks through process automation while ensuring the
safety of all employees is maintained during process changes.
- Lead the design and build of automation equipment to meet
plants safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Assists in the composition of Capital Appropriation Requests
(including payback and net present value analysis) for acquisition
of equipment to support emerging and existing technologies as
- Be responsibility for integration of old/new equipment into an
Industry 4.0 (Manufacturing Execution System) environment with help
from the manufacturing engineering team. This consists of PLC
programming standards, error proofing strategy, and data
- Manage projects and conducts project reviews as needed to
ensure successful and timely completion, within budget.

- Implement methods and practices to reduce variation.
Demonstrates ability to understand source(s) of variation and
identify impact of tolerance stacks in assemblies.

LI-LD1QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline from an
accredited institution is required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in engineering in a
- Minimum one (1) year of CAD experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without
corporate sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
implementing Lean Mfg. and/or Six Sigma principles
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Pro/E, Catia, and
