Description:As a Lab Manager, you'll manage labs and technicians to assist the design, development, test, certification, and deployment of cutting edge products and services. You'll manage all aspects of our labs including test equipment, facilities, and supplies. Coordinating lab activities and engineering technicians with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Procurement is also part of your charge. Additionally, you will be allocating tasking and supervising technicians to build cables and test fixtures as well as assist with assembly, integration, and test of prototype and production products.Skills:mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, bug reports, manufacturing, documentation, lab equipment, Test equipment, Electrical, Test engineeringTop Skills Details:mechanical drawings,electrical drawings,bug reports,manufacturing,documentation,lab equipmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must-haves:--- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of experience--- Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools--- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices--- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams--- Advanced Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration--- Demonstrated experience planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities--- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals--- MS Windows operating system commands and MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint--- Characterizing, documenting and maintaining product bug reports--- Writing parts of test plans and procedures--- Working knowledge of RF parameters including gain, noise figure, dynamic range, phase, spurs and group delay--- Using lab equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers--- Creating manufacturing documentation, and contributing to the writing of user and maintenance manuals--- Supporting ELINT, ESM or Radar products in the field at end user and prime integrator sites--- Asset Tracking Experience--- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
