We are AWS Infrastructure Developers to support Capital One Card Tech Data Scientists, to boost Capital One's goal to reimagine banking. As a Capital One Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major Machine Learning technology transformation.--What You'll Do:-- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. Maintain high security ML build and train platform and support data scientists to create their state of the art ML/AI models. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities. Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.Utilize programming languages like Python or Scala.Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes,CD tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild etc.CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services----------Basic Qualifications:----Bachelor's degree--At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply)At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience----Preferred Qualifications:--4+ years of professional software engineering/devops/MLE experience3+ years of experience with AWS or 2+ year experience with current Associate+ Level Certificate3+ years of experience coding with Python2+ years of experience with Container Services3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell--Proven experience of working with CI/CD systems.----1+ years of experience with network architecture and support1+ years of experience working with Agile Methodologies--1+ years of experience with containers and microservicesFamiliarity with container orchestration (ECS, K8, EKS etc.)--At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Location is New York City: $161,900 - $184,800 for Senior Software EngineerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
