RECARO Aircraft Seating, a pioneer in aerospace seating innovation, is seeking a skilled Global Commodity Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the procurement strategy for our supply chain, focusing on optimizing costs while ensuring the highest standards of quality and sustainability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and manage supplier performance and develop strategic relationships that align with RECARO's commitment to excellence and innovation in aircraft seating. Develop, negotiate, and administrate purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in line with company policies and requirements. Effectively manage commodity resources to improve the supply chain efficiency and optimize spending. Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure the company's purchasing strategy supports innovation. Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability and costs. Implement strategic procurement processes and practices to improve overall efficiency in the organization. Manage supplier performance to optimize relationships and logistics. Conduct cost analyses and set appropriate benchmarks to manage expenses and support budgeting efforts. Strong negotiation skills Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communication skills Advanced knowledge of supply chain management software and database systems Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification can be beneficial.
