Job Description Job Description Position: Electronics Repair and Testing Technician Location: Flower Mound, TX 75028 Hours: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm. Monday-Friday. Pay: $21/hr Strong soldering and rework skills (SMT preferred) The Electronics Repair and Testing Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic assemblies and components to the component level. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, diagnose circuit failures, and perform high-quality repairs while maintaining strict quality and performance standards. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and assemblies to the component level Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation Perform precision soldering on surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components Use electronic test and repair equipment, including: Oscilloscopes Spectrum analyzers Volt meters / multimeters Soldering and rework tools Identify defective components and perform accurate repairs or replacements Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards Document repairs and testing results as required Work with software-based diagnostic tools and electronic interfaces as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory and componentry Proven ability to troubleshoot electronics at the component level Experience soldering small, fine-pitch components on surface-mount PCBs Excellent manual dexterity and strong visual acuity for precision work Ability to accurately solder small components without rework defects Comfortable working with software and computer-based systems Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions Requirements Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Equal Opportunity Employer Hire Energy provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
