Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Oversees all beverage operations within the casino and is responsible to provide leadership, direction and training to staff concerning alcohol awareness and guest service.

Primary Tasks
Plan, organize, direct, and maintain operational standards within beverage department; including necessary positions, product, equipment and processes.
Actively maintain adequate staffing levels with qualified associates; this includes interview, hire, and train associates, as well as provide resources and coaching to ensure associate engagement.
Actively engage with guests and associates, address any concerns or needs and resolve issues to insure continuous improvement of beverage operations.
Enforce compliance with all ABLE laws, provide continuous education and updates to the beverage department.
Maintain highest level of guest experience by supporting our mission: "to be the destination of choice for entertainment and hospitality", to our diverse guests.
Monitor appearance standards among all beverage personnel and cleanliness of bars by conducting regular walk-throughs of the area and providing feedback and direction.
Monitor beverage inventory; resolve variance issues, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide training and corrective action to achieve optimum controls.
Control beverage financials; to include labor costs, COS and other expenses to budget.
Create and prepare monthly reports as required by Senior Leadership and participate in annual budget preparation.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure adequate beverage operations support is provided to execute all events and exceed guest expectations.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills And Experience

MINIMUM
Associates degree in hospitality, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Serv Safe & ABLE Certification
Highly organized, detailed oriented, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Strong computer skills Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Planner), computer- based retail transactional experience (POS)
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong inventory control program experience
Knowledge of government health, hotel, or food service regulations
Knowledge of operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience
Proven success with performance management of large teams in a hospitality environment.
Three (3) years' experience as a multi-unit bar & entertainment supervisor with a high-volume beverage background

TARGET
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field or equivalent exp.
Serv Safe & ABLE Certification

Proficient computer skills Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Planner), computer- based retail transactional experience (POS).
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Five (5) years' experience as a multi- unit bar & entertainment supervisor with a high-volume beverage background
