Job Description:
Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing
manufacturing company in Commerce, TX to identify a Human Resources
Manager. The Human Resources Manager should have 5 + years'
experience as a Human Resources Manager with a Bachelor's Degree.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for hiring,
retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance,
compensation, benefits, and staffing strategies for a small
manufacturing facility. The position will also be responsible for
the following.
Manage all Human Resources functions and activities to ensure the
company recruits and retains a highly qualified and engaged
workforce.
Oversee the implementation, administration, and dissemination of
information regarding all Human Resources functions including
employment, labor relations, training, management development,
employee programs, compensation, and benefits for exempt and
non-exempt, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and company
policies, procedures, and regulations.
Design and execute workforce planning and recruitment strategies
that attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
Responsible for site recruitment efforts for supporting the full
recruitment cycle, from sourcing, writing, and placing job
advertisements; screening applicants, conducting background checks
and extending offers.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; investigating
employee grievances; conducting effective, thorough, and objective
investigations, taking the required actions to resolve problems and
ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Partner with corporate office to ensure compensation practices
continue to attract and reward top talent. Overseeing salary
administration to include annual performance management and
compensation processes.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to draw
insights, develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Maintains HRIS database, entering new hire information and
terminating employees within the system. Generates data for monthly
HR report.
Advises and provides support for department managers regarding
company policy, equal employment opportunities, compensation,
employee benefits and disciplinary matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
5+ years experience in human resources
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A comprehension of the key principles of employment law and EEOC
regulations
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Must have manufacturing industry experience
