At Capital One, our IT Managers work with business and technology partners to identify and prioritize IT projects for new innovations, process improvements, or operations. The ideal candidate will lead governance and strategic initiatives by leaning on current agile processes and defining new processes as needed.. As a leader, you will communicate recommended changes to IT and business partners, and participate in backlog grooming, design improvements and performance enhancements. Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate reporting and performance initiatives to support technical and business strategy of the Auto Loan organization division
• Work with business partners and software engineering groups to identify technical and functional needs of the system and determine the backlog priority
• Analyze requirements and architecture to understand current processes and the proposed target processes to be deployed in the environment
• Identify and manage platform strategic direction in coordination with business users' needs and direction
• Drive large, complex projects to completion and execute roadmaps, while championing business and technical goals
• Manage interdependencies and risks across a high number of scrum teams and organizations
• Work with a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure needs and expectations are met
• Distill complex information for business partners and guide the experience leads for their implementation
• Mediate and resolve conflicts, maintain a strategic focus when making decisions
• Provide supervision and direction to project teams to ensure successful execution
• Understand Agile processes, team velocity and forecast progress accordingly
• Working on the governance team, gain technical knowledge needed to respond to audit and technical system inquiries
• Ensure quality and evidence of project documentation
• Create regular reporting for the business and IT stakeholders
• Work on the JIRA boards and Grafana dashboards to derive the project execution
• Work on the annual budgets with the business teams to ensure appropriate assignment of resources Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in leading IT projects
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT development or supportPreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Computers
    • 5+ years of experience in managing IT projects
    • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
    • 2+ years of experience in technology project including software development and infrastructure deployment
