over SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting will be responsible for
various tasks primarily associated with the monthly and quarterly
close process, periodic financial filings with the SEC,
governmental bodies and other technical accounting matters.This
position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.ESSENTIAL JOB
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the SEC reporting process for
public filings as a preparer of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, SD, 8-Ks
(including earnings release) , and Section 16 filings, including
XBRL tagging for SEC Filings, tie-outs to source data, and clerical
accuracy checksPrepare and update accounting policies, ensuring
compliance with U.S. GAAP and completion of U.S. GAAP
checklistPerform benchmarking and monitoring of SEC Comment letters
for various areas related to presentation and disclosurePrepare
reporting activities associated withGamer Fund, a charitable
organization, including review of quarterly financial
statementsPreparation of quarterly financial statements including
equity and foreign exchange calculationsPrepare submissions
formonthly, quarterly, and annual Census and BEA surveys as they
relate to financial informationSupport for annual and quarterly
external audit requests and quarterly covenant compliance
calculations for Treasury.Perform control procedures and
documentation in compliance with SOX standardsIdentify process
improvement opportunities as it relates to the individuals area of
responsibilityAssist in complex accounting transactions including
assistance with preparing technical accounting memos to ensure
appropriate accounting treatment and financial statement
presentationEngagement in special projects as requested , such as
ESGEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION (Basic and Preferred)Bachelors degree in
Accounting , Finance or related, accredited field required5+ years
of experience in a Big 4 or national public accounting firm and/or
a multinational public company environment experience.Experience in
SEC Reporting and/or Technical AccountingStrong US GAAP
acumenExperience with retail, ecommerce or technology company
preferredExperience with ERP Systems. SAP and FCCS experience
preferredExtremely proficient in Microsoft Office applications such
as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be willing to work
non-standard hours as required to meet reporting deadlinesAbility
to learn and optimize the use of technologyExcellent written and
verbal communications skillsExperience preparing financial
statement s and cash flow equity statement sCPA or CPA
