Patient Population: Primarily Adult Cardiac, but full-service
ED
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Number of Beds: 9
Department Specifics: Certified Chest Pain Center. Our Registered
Nurse (RN) staff is proficient in STEMI activations and established
care guidelines. Registered Nurses (RN) can be involved in
Improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and
councils. Everyone's voice matters. This unit provides staff the
ability to learn new skills, improve time management, and be a part
of team that is focused on making ED experiences 'Better for
Everyone'
