QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high
quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the
unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and
evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The
CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled
patient experience. Our Progressive Care Registered Nurses raise
the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality
care, in the most compassionate way. Our 35-bed ICU Stepdown unit
provides healing to general intermediate care patients needing a
higher level of skilled nursing care than on a Medical Surgical
floor, but do not need an intensive level of care in the ICU. Our
patient population includes post sheath removal, stroke, spine,
peritoneal dialysis, cardiac drips and much more receiving care

Will Do In This Role:
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate,
customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to
support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance
and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN required
- Current TX RN license or RN compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by
either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year
- Completion of charge nurse course required within 1 year
- Other leadership training and activity in processional
organizations highly preferred
- 2 years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of
his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred This
role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on
local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical
or religious exemption is approved).Medical City Plano opened in
