Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of our physical therapists to help patients recover and improve their physical abilities following injuries or illnesses. This role involves assisting with exercises, providing therapeutic treatments, and documenting patient responses to therapy. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Perform therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist, including exercises and modalities. Educate and instruct patients and their families in appropriate care as directed by the physical therapist. Maintain accurate patient records and document the patient's progress. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members to ensure cohesive care. Assist with the setup and teardown of therapy equipment. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards while administering care.
