Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
WORK SCHEDULE: FT, 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday
– Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must live within
30 minutes of Texas Health Plano) NEURO SPECIAL PROCEDURE
DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS: • Newly built Second Hybrid Neuro room •
Comprehensive Stroke Certification • Ability to cross train within
Heart & Vascular • Employer-sponsored specialty certification for
Interventional Radiology available to enhance training and
professional development WHAT YOU WILL NEED: • Associate Degree
Applied Science required OR • Completion of accredited program in
Cardiovascular Technology required Or • High School Diploma or
equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology
required. • 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred. •
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
required And • GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If
ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred OR • RCIS—Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist—Obtain within 6 months of hire if graduated
from Cardiovascular Accredited Program • LMRT—Limited Medical
Radiologic Technologist—If you have RCIS certification only • BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient
care and maintained quarterly required. • ACLS—Advanced Cardiac
Life Support—within 90 days of hire required WHAT YOU WILL DO: •
Imaging Quality and Processing: • Explains procedures to patient or
guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam. • Performs
complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental
considerations. • Assists radiologist with complex and invasive
procedures using aseptic technique. • Correctly sends and transfers
