Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a qualified Speech Language
Pathologist Team Supervisor to lead and enhance our speech therapy
services. This position focuses on supervising a team of Speech
Language Pathologists, providing direct care, and ensuring the
delivery of high-quality therapy to pediatric and adult patients in
home settings. The role demands a combination of clinical expertise
and leadership skills to oversee all aspects of the speech therapy
department, maintenance of the highest standards of care, and
compliance with all relevant regulations. Lead and manage a team of
Speech Language Pathologists and Therapy Assistants, including
hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Develop, implement,
and review treatment plans and therapy goals for patients. Ensure
compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well
as professional standards. Coordinate with other healthcare
providers to optimize care plans and patient outcomes. Maintain
patient confidentiality and sensitivity to the needs of pediatric
and adult patients and their families. Oversee clinical
documentation and preparation of reports for referring physicians
and insurance entities. Conduct regular team meetings and therapy
sessions as per the organization’s protocols. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in clinical documentation and patient management
software Deep understanding of speech-language disorders and
treatments Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible
