Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home-based therapy, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT/ COTA) to join our team. This role is pivotal in helping pediatric patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, from the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric healthcare, exceptional communication skills, and a deep desire to improve the quality of life for children facing physical challenges. Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized plans of care Implement therapeutic processes to assist children with developmental, congenital, or neurological disorders Work closely with parents/guardians to integrate therapeutic activities at home Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed Maintain patient and service documentation according to compliance and regulatory standards Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care Educate family members on various therapeutic exercises and regimes Proficient in pediatric therapy techniques and tools Ability to craft and implement effective therapeutic plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capable of managing time and maintaining detailed records Comfortable working with children of various disabilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) NBCOT certification preferred CPR certified
