Canton-AP-Physician-0002 State TX Location 18780 I 20 Canton Texas 75103 Requirements FACILITY INFORMATION FACILITY NAME Christus Emergency Care Center - Canton PROVIDER(S) INFORMATION START MONTH FOR PROVIDER(S) February 2026 EST LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT 1 year PROVIDERS NEEDED (FT or PT of shifts to cover) Need of 12 full time docs across the Christus Mother Frances system MINIMUM of SHIFTS ACCEPTABLE 5 CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Will accept ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS or other BCs? FNP ANCC, AANP or other BCs? ABEM preferred but we will accept FM trained docs w/ strong ED experience Will the facility accept alternative boards? ABPS? No RESIDENCY TRAINED REQUIREMENTS EM residency trained preferred but open to FM residency trained w/ ED experience ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS Required? If the physician is FM residency trained or boarded or board eligible EM, then they must have ATLS, ACLS & PALS. If the physician is EM board certified, then they must show proof of having ATLS at least once in their lifetime.
