Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Equipment Repair
Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine
maintenance on a variety of dental equipment to ensure a smooth and
efficient workflow in our clinic. This role offers flexible hours
and the opportunity to work with advanced dental technology. Key
Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair Troubleshoot,
diagnose, and repair dental equipment (e.g., handpieces,
autoclaves, X-ray units, chairs, etc.) in a timely manner.
Preventive Maintenance Conduct routine inspections and preventive
maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment
performance. Documentation & Inventory Maintain accurate service
records, track repair histories, and manage inventory of spare
parts and supplies. Compliance & Safety Ensure all work is
performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, safety
protocols, and relevant dental regulations. Customer Service
Communicate effectively with dental staff to schedule repairs,
provide equipment usage guidance, and address any technical
concerns. Qualifications Education High school diploma or
equivalent required; technical certification or relevant coursework
in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field is a
plus. Experience Previous experience in equipment repair or a
related technical position is preferred. Experience with dental,
medical, or similar equipment is highly advantageous. Technical
Skills Strong troubleshooting abilities, familiarity with reading
and understanding technical manuals, and proficiency with standard
repair tools. Other Requirements Excellent attention to detail and
problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service
abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel locally (if needed) for on-site repairs Work
Schedule Part-Time Flexible hours. Specific days and times to be
determined based on clinic needs and technician availability.
