Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Perinatal Sonographer to
join our dynamic team in providing exceptional, specialized imaging
services in our perinatal care units. As a key member of our
healthcare services team, you will be responsible for performing
diagnostic medical sonography in a high-stakes environment,
delivering compassionate care to expectant mothers during critical
stages of pregnancy. With the latest technology at your disposal
and a supportive team environment, this role is pivotal in aiding
our mission to improve patient outcomes and ensure the health of
both mothers and unborn babies. Perform detailed and complex
ultrasounds of the fetal heart, brain, and other organs during
prenatal visits. Interact compassionately with pregnant patients,
providing explanations of the procedures and answering any
questions. Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare
professionals to interpret sonographic results and discuss care
plans. Maintain sonography equipment, ensuring it is in optimal
condition and ready for use. Document and maintain accurate patient
records and sonographic data. Adhere to departmental protocols and
national safety regulations to ensure the safety and protection of
patients and staff. Proficiency in using sonographic equipment to
conduct perinatal scans with high precision. Ability to interpret
complex sonographic data. Strong interpersonal skills for effective
communication with patients and team members. Capability to adhere
to safety and health guidelines diligently and consistently.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential,
specifically in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification is required.
