As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will be pivotal in managing the sterilization and distribution of instruments and equipment, ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency in our operating rooms and clinics. Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment according to prescribed health and safety standards. Consistently follow all documented procedures and policies to ensure items are processed and ready for patient care. Maintain daily records of processes, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies inventory. Inspect equipment and instruments routinely for cleanliness and proper functioning and operation. Prepare, pack, and organize sterilized instruments and equipment for surgical procedures. Operate and maintain all sterilization equipment, performing regular tests and validations to ensure compliance with industry regulations. In-depth understanding of sterilization processing standards and practices. Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficient in using sterilization machinery and technology. Good communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or similar certification preferred.
