Job Description:

Salary : $40,000Duties & Responsibilities:1) Punctual and dependable attendance.2) Manages budget and maintains expenditures in accordance with the Agency, departmental, and store financial goals.3) Hire, train, evaluate, motivate and supervise all store personnel to maintain and exceed the Agency's operational standards.4) Comply with Agency policies and DGR standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the Agency's safety and security policies and procedures.5) Adhere to the process outline for the job you are supervising and performing.6) Greet, assist and provide excellent customer service to donors/customers.7) Assist and resolve any complaints and communicate with the management team.8) Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.9) Monitor and maintain overall store appearance and housekeeping to Agency standards by proper colorization, cleanliness, store layout, signage and displays.10) Perform and assist in all functions completed by store personnel.11) Conduct all monthly meetings with store employees and attend all meetings and training as required by the Agency.12) Maintain all company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion and assist in preparation of daily reports.13) Assist in sales and processing of items.14) Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips and balancing cash drawers.15) Must be able to adapt to growth and a changing environment within the Agency.16) Review and be familiar with Goodwill Dallas safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes.17) Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.18) Perform other duties and projects as required by management.Education & Experience:1) High School diploma or GED, preferred.2) Associates Degree or completion of related retail management course work preferred.3) 3 years of experience in a supervisory role of 12 or more employees in retail, manufacturing, production or food services and/or demonstrated success and completion of Goodwill assigned training.4) Bilingual a plus.5) Ability to transfer to any Goodwill Dallas within the territory.6) Prior retail experience or customer service/ relations experience.7) Must be 21 years old.8) Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance Verification, required.9) Ability to speak, read and write the English language.10) Reliable transportation and communication, requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:1) High level of attention to detail.2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.3) Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on several projects at once.4) Strong sense of internal and external customer service.5) Ability to adapt to growth and a changing environment within the Agency.6) Good math skills, reading skills and basic accounting knowledge.7) Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.8) Good coaching skills.9) Strong time management skills and demonstrate adherence to timelines and schedules.10) Good follow through on projects and deliverables.11) Good problem-solving skills.12) Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and13) Ability to complete and maintain:

Work schedule includes days, evenings, holidays and blackout periods, weekends are required.3) Works 45 hours per week or more when required.4) Moderate noise level.5) Occasional travel required.
