Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking an -Executive -Chef 2 -in - Durant, Oklahoma. -Southeastern Oklahoma State University is seeking an Executive Chef to support our - Resident Dining facility. - This Chef will be responsible for all culinary execution including recipe compliance, maintaining operating standards and expectations. - -As Executive Chef, you will oversee all culinary operations including the Magnolia Cafe, - Magnolia Eatery and Catering. Responsibilities for this hands-on role will include menu planning, inventory/ordering, purchasing, food & labor costing, scheduling, training and safety/sanitation. - The ideal candidate will have a passion for spending time with students and teaching culinary skills in the kitchen. - -Responsible for all food ordering, inventory, and scheduling of kitchen staff. - Our chef will typically work a later shift, from 11am - 7pm. -The successful candidate will: -

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or

Position Summary: Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. - Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. -

      - - Manages food & physical safety programs. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - -Associate's Degree -or equivalent experience
      Basic Management Experience - 2 years
      Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
