Job Description:
Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking an -Executive -Chef 2 -in -
Durant, Oklahoma. -Southeastern Oklahoma State University is
seeking an Executive Chef to support our - Resident Dining
facility. - This Chef will be responsible for all culinary
execution including recipe compliance, maintaining operating
standards and expectations. - -As Executive Chef, you will oversee
all culinary operations including the Magnolia Cafe, - Magnolia
Eatery and Catering. Responsibilities for this hands-on role will
include menu planning, inventory/ordering, purchasing, food & labor
costing, scheduling, training and safety/sanitation. - The ideal
candidate will have a passion for spending time with students and
teaching culinary skills in the kitchen. - -Responsible for all
food ordering, inventory, and scheduling of kitchen staff. - Our
chef will typically work a later shift, from 11am - 7pm. -The
successful candidate will: -
Key Duties
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. -
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational
standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
- - Manages food & physical safety programs. Qualifications &
Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - -Associate's Degree -or
equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or
culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending,
catering services, institutional services, mall food courts,
etc.
