Job Description:

Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items from scratch, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste - Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner - Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking - Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies - Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules - Assist with catering orders and special requests Skills: - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles - Experience in baking and pastry production - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking - Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Attention to detail for precise measurements and presentation - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload - Excellent customer service skills for interacting with customers - Ability to follow instructions accurately and work cooperatively with others. - Ability to work independently - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Attention to detail and ability to follow recipe measurements and procedures - Ability to stand for long periods of time, including bending, lifting, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and carrying products - High school diploma or equivalent required - 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or other related field preferred - Ability to work independently and with a team - Ability to lift 50 pounds - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
