Child Care Substitute - Bennington Description This position starts at $10/hr. Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for assisting classroom Teacher with the implementation of the educational program. This person must maintain an effective working relationship with other staff, parents, and children. This job is on an as needed basis. Primary Tasks: * Monitors safety and behavior of children. * Follow and implement daily schedule appropriate for the age group of children for which responsible. * Assist Teacher with preparing and executing daily activities based on children's individual development/needs. * Maintains order within center * Sanitize classroom and equipment. * Assists with meals and snacks. * Other duties as assigned by management. Required Education, Skills and Experience: MINIMUM * High School diploma or GED * Must have knowledge and ability to work with appropriate software applications and communicate quickly and effectively both orally and in writing * Must have the ability to work with children, remain calm, patient and make sound decisions in case of emergency situations and difficult situations * Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job that may include lifting up to 55 pounds, frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling * Experience working with children TARGET * Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field * Must have knowledge and ability to work with appropriate software applications and communicate quickly and effectively both orally and in writing * Must have the ability to work with children, remain calm, patient and make sound decisions in case of emergency situations and difficult situations * Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job that may include lifting up to 55 pounds, frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling * Two (2) years or more experience working with children #LI-DNI Job Education Primary Location OK-Bennington Work Locations Bennington Headstart 820 N Perry St. Bennington 74723 Organization Education Schedule Regular Part-time Day Job Req ID:
