Main Duties & Responsibilities
Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, part of TriMas Aerospace, is the
leading designer, developer and manufacturer of permanent blind
bolts and temporary fasteners used in commercial, business and
military aircraft construction and assembly. Monogram, as a

Prepares, performs and records results of inspections and tests
to determine if the characteristics of parts and materials meet
documented requirements. Accepts or rejects parts and prepares
related records. Leads day-to-day activities of inspection

All reviews, inspections, and documentation of results of a
First Article Inspection.
Testing of Raw Material Bend Test, certification review and
Calibration of precision measuring and test gages.
Test Drive Inspection.
Torque Testing and Recess Torque Testing.
Nondestructive Testing Penetrant, Mag Particle
Demonstrated ability to read and write English of a level
required in Company shop documents and computer software entry and
processing requirements. Must be capable of applying mathematical
operations including the use of fractions, decimals/ geometry, etc.
to inspect exacting tolerances ( .0001) as required by complex
inspection procedures. Must be certified NDT level II inspector.
Generally equivalent to journeyman school graduate level.
Requires 10 years experience, or equivalent skills and
knowledge, in inspection operations and the use of tools and
equipment similar or comparable to those used by the Company for
inspections. Minimum of 5 years experience with Company products
and related specifications. Thorough knowledge of current military
standards, ISO 9000 and other reference material as applied to
inspection procedures in use by the Company on all various product
lines. Must pass and maintain currency in NDT, magnetic and
penetrant written and functional certification test. Must set - up,
operate, use and read test equipment and precision measuring
instruments such as various gauges, meters, calipers and
micrometers as well as blueprints and other documentation similar
or comparable to those used by the Company. Must be familiar with
tooling inspection for carbide cutting and form tools.
