Come Join Us!JOB SUMMARY The person in this position works in a unit process area of scribe and break with process engineer to resolve process-related issues in manufacturing and also to execute engineering experiment. The technician in this grade can train new technicians of lower level on technician duties. This person understands relationship between processes upstream/downstream. This person can work as a backup engineer for process sustaining purpose.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRelease WIP from hold.Execute OCAP following process specification.Execute engineering experiment per instruction from engineer.Train/certify operators.Write/proof-read process specificationModify/create process recipes.Design/execute engineering experiment and analyze data to generate conclusions.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEChoose one of the following options in each category 3A. Required Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Experience3B. Expected Minimum Years of Related Experience10+ yearsGaAs semiconductor processing or optoelectronics device experience preferred.REQUIRED SKILLSKnowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices. In-depth knowledge of unit process.Knowledge of engineering statistics.Good written/oral communication skill.Fluency in MS Office suite as well as JMP or other statistics software.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periodsWear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)Stand for up to 4 hours at a timeLift up to 16-30 Pounds Push/Pull up to 16-30 poundsSit for up to 4 hours at a timeSAFETY REQUIREMENTS Everyone must follow the site EHS procedures and the II-VI Corporate EHS standards.Capable of working with laser safety goggle on for extended time.QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for the execution and maintenance of the IS0 9001, 14001 and other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.We offer an attractive salary and an excellent benefits package designed to attract and retain individuals willing to accept the challenge and risk associated with being part of a successful company.
