POSITION SUMMARY: Reports to the CEO of TMC Behavioral Health
Center (BHC). Position is responsible for ensuring that general
operations are managed effectively throughout the BHC facility.
Works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), and Director of
Social Work at TMC BHC so as to effectively align efforts in order
to maximize the quality of services and increase profitability of
BHC. Works well with multiple managers, staff, providers and
patient population at BHC and throughout the TMC Market. Ensures
that quality operations are optimized in order to positively affect
the center's reputation throughout the region, as well as maximize
return on investment. Develops and provides quality programs and
services to the community to increase BHC visibility as an
excellent resource for behavioral health services. Creates,
implements and manages programs and processes, in conjunction with
the CEO and DON, to encourage employees' commitment to high quality
patient centered care and growth. Communicates effectively with
diverse groups including physicians, managers, and employees.
Provides effective day-to-day operational oversight for assigned
departments. Implements strategy of CEO, along with CNO. Assists
with service line and business development activities in the
respective areas of responsibility
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare
Management or comparable healthcare related field required.
Equivalent healthcare management experience of at least 8-10 years
may be considered in lieu of degree. Master's degree preferred in
Healthcare Administration or comparable healthcare related
Minimum of at least five years of healthcare leadership
experience, preferably in a behavioral health center and/or an
acute care hospital.
Ability to prioritize, identify problems and refer for
resolution. Must possess excellent professional, interpersonal,
communication and critical thinking skills. Enthusiasm and
flexibility highly desired. Demonstrates attention to detail with
strong focus on interconnectedness of multiple layers of the
