  • Reporting to the Power Control Business Operations Manager EMEA, the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of Power Control projects across the EMEA region
  • Manages and leads a diverse team of project managers responsible for management of complex Power Control Business projects where scope of supply consists of Rockwell Automation Power Control equipment (Medium voltage Drives, Motor Control Centers) and 3rd party Packaged Power Components
  • Drives excellence in project execution to strengthen customer loyalty and generate new business
  • The PMO Manager is responsible to creates an environment conducive to successful team interaction with Sales, Finance, Engineering and Manufacturing organizations
  • Manages and forecast hours required to maintain or improve project profitability
  • Through pro-active communication, the PMO Manager will interface with the Local & Global Business Unit to update leadership team on status of critical projects and metrics
  • Review scope and pricing on all change orders that require delegation of authority
  • Establishes and manages project schedules including forecasting of business revenue to be recognized



  • Manages a group of project managers and business metrics for the Power Control Business Unit
  • Responsible for successful project implementation starting with marketing support on proposal generation through startup/final customer acceptance
  • Supervision of project managers during the Initiate, Plan, Execute & Control and Close phases on projects
  • Regularly schedules project review meetings with Project Managers. Review points include kickoff meeting, project budget, project schedule, effective use of assigned resources, drive open issues to resolution, anticipate and manage project risk (financial, schedule, technical, commercial), effective project communication with customer, engineering and manufacturing, escalate to management when required, customer satisfaction and acceptance
  • Responsible for Business Unit metrics which include on-time performance of all project milestones, minimize cycle time between milestones, change order revenue, project margin, shipment forecast, quality metrics, warranty costs and customer experience
  • Responsible for ensuring that project costs match scope of work and reflect all change orders to meet customer requirements.This responsibility includes creating, maintaining and forecasting project costs using SAP business system.
  • Confirms and coordinates all customer shipping requirements in order to meet forecast targets
  • Provides, communicates and enforces yearly goals to all project managers


  • Responsible for providing short term and long term shipment/revenue forecast for business/region.
  • Regularly schedules project updates to Power Control Business Unit management staff.Topics to include but not limited to key orders in backlog, key business metrics, personnel issues
  • Lead PCB representative with OES.Duties include lead PCB representative on collaborative projects and service review meetings.
  • Communication and disciplined cadence to review and drive weekly tasks for each Project Managers
  • Interface to other Rockwell Automation divisions including sales, vendors, consultants, contractors, OEM's, subcontractors, subsystem suppliers, PCB internal resources, management, Finance, Commercial Engineering, Quality, OES Master scheduling team and plant personnel.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management & people management
  • Project Management certification is a plus
  • 5+ plus years design and application experience with emphasis on AC motor control, drives, programmable controllers, and low voltage distribution



  • Must be a good communicator both verbal and written, who can teach and solve problems in a group environment.Must be a good listener.

  • Working environment is mostly in an office environment with exposure to a manufacturing and start-up site. Willingness to do field work and travel is a necessity

Functional Expertise:

  • Both project management and engineering design are requirements.
  • Product knowledge of MCCs and associated products including 3rd party packaged power solutions (switchgear, drives, starters, feeders, etc.)
  • Application Knowledge of the key Power Control Heavy industries (i.e. Oil & Gas, WWW, Mining, Power, etc.)


  • Must lead by example in design quality, dedication to customer satisfaction, continuing education, and improving order margin. Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.


  • Must stress cost reduction and eliminate redundant processes. Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures the importance of standards for business conduct.
  • Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.
  • Trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.
