The Code and Process Document Leader owns responsibility to
document complete maintenance, testing and repair procedures in
compliance with all applicable code and KONE guidelines. This
position reports to the Director, Service Operations Americas and
supervises Testing & Repair Procedure Managers.
Your responsibilities will be:
Drive the maintenance, testing and repair document production
process based upon clearly prioritized demand, completion targets
and progress communication to stakeholders. Outputs to include:
Maintenance Control Program and KONE Maintenance Method (KMM)
updates to the technicians guide.
Review KONE elevator product maintainability documentation
developed by Maintenance Methodology Specialist (Americas KTI)
Effectively hire, lead and develop team of Testing and Repair
Procedure Managers, including performance management, coaching and
Perform as a growth leader by looking at code changes as a
business development opportunity to provide customers with greater
value at a price, promptly engaging service operations leadership
in field action planning
Effectively lead, support and sustain the QEI Certification
Program for KONE Service leaders
PIC documentation review team member and edit of Retrofits
requested for released
Effectively participate in relevant Code Committees
- Special projects as assigned by the Director Service
The desired candidate will have:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years progressive service operations management experience
including technical expertise in service operations, managing and
leading people, action planning and implementation.
Subject matter expertise in field and service operations.
Comprehensive understanding of KONE's processes, procedures,
policies, contract and product
Understanding of collaborative development methodology,
implementation planning and execution, and change management.
Familiarity with competitor product offerings and
General accounting and financial management principles.
Laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
