Job Description:
The **Customer Service Representative** role is an exciting
opportunity to support the **Sherman, TX** , Emerson team. You will
guarantee a positive customer experience and have a lasting impact
in building strong relationships with our customers. You will
ensure quick and reliable processing of customer requests, provide
efficient and knowledgeable responses, and pro-actively use your
problem-solving skills throughout the order process.
**_As a Customer Service Representative, you will:_**
+ Provide outstanding customer service by leading all aspects of
the customer perception by applying customer relationship
techniques and communication skills
+ Coordinate with Applications Engineering, Project Management,
Logistics and Exports to establish acceptable dates for quotes,
express, FAST and pre-com orders
+ Review and research customer inquiries and issues and follow up,
either verbally or in writing, to every customer request within
24-48 hours
+ Facilitate customer expediters and inspectors when required and
follows through to acquire shipment and inspection releases

and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You
provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the
organization. You identify and seize new opportunities. You build
and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You
carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate
decision-making criteria and principles.
**_Required Education, Experience, and Skills:_**
+ Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience
+ Three (3) years' experience in Customer Service with direct
customer contact responsibilities
+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, planning, and communication
skills
+ Excellent decision-making skills as well as effective
problem-solving skills
+ Solid understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and
manufacturing business
+ Ability to thrive a fast-paced environment on a dynamic team
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship
will not be provided for this position
**_Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:_**
+ Two (2) years' experience with Material Requirement Planning
(MRP) and manufacturing business systems including Oracle
+ Understanding of Lean Manufacturing knowledge and tools
