Job Description:

Overview of the role: You will be involved in the design and development of functional requirements of Fusion Invest (Sophis) for our Investment Banks and Asset Manager clients. As an experienced developer, you will promote state-of-the-art technical knowledge within our development teams, and act as a reference point for other functions such as Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Global Services. Responsibilities & Deliverables: Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following: a) Delivering product roadmaps in one of the following areas: * Financial instruments modeling, market data management * Risk analysis, portfolio management * Scalability on high volume data (parallelization, grid computing) and algorithm optimization b) Supporting our customer with bug fixes and tactical enhancements. You will design and develop following Agile (SAFe) methodology, and development best practices: code review, SOLID principles, automatic tests and continuous integration. You will report to a development manager located in the same office. Required Experience: * Master or engineering degree, scientific thesis, or equivalent experience in computer science, with at least 7 years of experience as a developer. * Good understanding and hands on experience on C++ (must have) and most of the following stack: C#, XML, XAML, REST, Swagger, Visual Studio, GIT * Interest in code quality and tools, test automation, code review, and appetite for best practices * Capable of designing smart solutions, writing clean code and solving complex problems * Team spirit, enthusiasm, willing to learn and progress in an international and stimulating environment * An experience or knowledge in the financial industry would be a plus * Good level in English and French. * The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
