Job Description:
A company is looking for a Personnel Security Assistant to
support background security investigations for the U.S. Department
of the Interior.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate and manage background investigations for employees and
contractors
Serve as the primary contact for security offices and assist
employees throughout the investigation process
Ensure compliance with security processes and recommend
improvements for efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in national security, homeland security,
information systems/technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security-related role
Comprehensive knowledge of personnel security program regulations
and procedures
Ability to manage confidential government records and utilize
relevant software applications
Must have an in-scope, favorably adjudicated National Security
Investigation at the Tier-3 level or higher
