JOB DESCRIPTION

As Shipping/Receiving Operative 1, you will be responsible for the following job duties:

Goods Receipt

• Receive the material: In charge of unloading the material delivered by the suppliers from the trucks and stock it in a dedicated area checking the correspondence with the bill of material.
• Finalize goods receipt: In charge of running a specific transaction into SAP in order to receive the material into the system.
• Deliver material to production: They move the material inside the shop floor using the appropriate tools and will stock the material into the warehouse or deliver it to production when needed.
  
  Issue Material
  
  • Pick and Pack the Material. In charge of collecting all the components to be delivered and repack them if needed.
  • Load and ship the delivery. They load the trucks with all the packages to be delivered to a specific distribution center.
    
    A desired candidate will possess the following attributes.
    
    • Maintains a solid attendance history and work ethic
    • Possesses basic computer skills
    • Able to work as a team player
    • Maintains attention to detail
      
      Job Specific Skills (required)
      
      • Warehouse experience - 6 months
      • Forklift Experience (stand up) Loading & Unloading Trucks - 12 months
      • Shipping experience - 6 months
      • FedEx/DHL/UPS, etc., shipping knowledge
      • SAP or other ERP equivalent knowledge
      • Receiving experience with Goods Receipt experience - 6 months
