JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment-- Coordinate, track, and maintain all work orders-- Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion and include pertinent information for equipment files-- Maintain up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints, and schematics-- Data enter procurement and inventory records by appropriate category (e.g., account, cost center, project)-- Print and/or provide corrective work orders, preventive maintenance work orders, and parts automatic orders on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis-- Generate a variety of reports for management (e.g., back-order, inventory, productivity reports)-- Assist in ordering and receiving of maintenance related parts and materials; process purchase orders-- Track maintenance spending-- Assist in the coordination of incoming contractors-- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues-- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements-- The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-- High school diploma or equivalent-- 1 to 3 years clerical, production, or general work experience-- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employmentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES-- Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems-- Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail-- Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision-- Able to multi-task-- Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems-- Able to work effectively in a team environment-- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing-- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals-- Must be able to read, write and speak English
